What is the resources pull-down menu?
The Resources pull-down menu includes the seven Resource Groups that the StrengthofUs team, in consultation with young adults, has developed, including Taking Charge, On Our Own, Campus Life, Relationships, Friends and Family, Educate Yourself and Express Yourself. These Resource Groups address topics that young adults indentified as being most important to them.
The Resource Groups include tip sheets the StrengthofUs team developed in consultation with young adults, unless otherwise indicated. The groups also include relevant, hands-on resources, youth stories and discussion boards so you can connect with other users and chat about the issues raised within the Resource Groups.
How were the resources on the site developed?
The majority of the tip sheets and media files available within the seven Resource Groups were developed by the StrengthofUs team in consultation with young adults. The StrengthofUs team surveyed young adults about what issues were most important to them and developed resources in response to their feedback.
Some of the tip sheets you will find within the seven Resource Groups were developed with the help of national experts who answered questions young adults had about a specific issue. These tip sheets are indicated as such.
Additionally, some fo the tip sheets and media files were reprinted or adapted with permission. These resources are also indicated as such.
Any content outside of the seven Resource Groups are items users have generated. The StrengthofUs team has not reviewed, developed or approved any of these resources.
What resources has the StrengthofUs team developed?
When you see something has been posted by Chuck, that means it's content that has been approved and developed by the StrengthofUs team, unless otherwise indicated.
The StrengthofUs team, in consultation with a young adult expert advisory group, developed all of the resources (unless otherwise noted) that Chuck has posted in the seven resource groups, which are accessible by clicking the Resources pull-down menu. These groups also include content that young adults have developed and approved and that Chuck has posted and uploaded.
The rest of the resources available on this site are generated by users like you and are not developed or approved by the StrengthofUs team.
Do I need to log-in to access the resources on the site?
