| How do I add a message board to my profile? How do I add other features to my profile? |
You can add a "Message Board" widget to your profile by visiting your profile and clicking the "Edit page" option. Then select the "Message Board" widget from the Widget Gallery on the right and drag it to your profile page. Click "save" and the message board will then pop up on your profile page. You will receive an email notification when someone posts on your Message Board. You can read a user's message on your board in the email or you can visit your profile and read Message Board posts.
You can follow this same process to add other widgets or "features" to your profile page for you and other users to see. Other widgets include Friends, Pages, File Widget, My Wire Posts, Recent Bookmarks, and Group Membership. These widgets lists your friends, pages, files, wire posts, bookmarks and groups you are a member of on your profile page for you and others to see. You can also add the Event Calendar to your profile page to keep track of your upcoming events. You can control how many items the widgets list by clicking the "Edit" option on the top right side of each widget box.
You can choose where to place any of these widgets on your profile page. You can also remove them at any time by clicking "Edit page" and moving the widgets on your page back to the Widget Gallery on the right side of the page.

You cannot change the colors of your profile page. However, you can choose which widgets you would like to display on your profile and where you would like them to be show up on your profile page.
Additionally, you can choose which profile fields to complete and display on your profile. Lastly, you are free to upload a photo of you, an avatar or a photograph.
| How do I create a profile? |
Once you have created an account and logged into the Web site, you can access your profile by clicking the small photo icon available on the top left side of the logged in version of StrengthofUs.
Within your profile, you can upload a profile photo by clicking the "Upload Profile Photo" link available under the profile photo. You can upload photos in the following formats: JPG, GIF or PNG. Your photo much be less than 20MB in size. You can crop your photo using the resize tool available. If you have trouble uploading a photo, please contact the Webmaster.
You can provide information about yourself on your profile page, but clicking the blue "Edit Profile" button available. You can determine which profile fields you would like to display and what privacy settings you would like for your profile. You can choose whether your profile is private or if it can be viewed by the public, by friends only, by logged in users only or by group members only.
Additionally within your profile, you can edit your profile page by clicking the blue "Edit Page" button. This area lets you determine which features you would like to appear on your profile and where. Features you can place within your profile include a message board, event calendar, wire posts as well as lists of your friends, groups you are a member of, files you have uploaded, pages you have posted and much more.
