Early Warning Signs of Mental Health Conditions
Knowing the early warning signs of a mental health condition can make a huge difference. The earlier a mental health condition is identified, the better the outcomes. Recovery is possible but oftentimes services and support are needed to avoid symptoms from worsening or reoccurring.
Look out for your friends, family and yourself by becoming aware of these key warning signs of the most common mental health conditions. If you notice these symptoms in yourself, a friend or a family member and they last a few weeks, consider seeking help and support.
It's important to remember that many health conditions cause symptoms similar to those of a mental health condition, so make sure to get a complete physical exam before jumping to any conclusions.
